The summer days are slowly bringing cooler temperatures to the Puget Sound region as August is already here. Seattle summers are amazing, Jesse Tam with cruise ships heading to Alaska and fantastic outdoor venues for all ages. There were several days with skies filled with smoke and haze creating conditions which are unhealthy to go outdoors. We missed the clear blue skies and views of Mt Rainier and Olympic Mountains across the Seattle landscapes.
It's time for educators and students to prepare for the new school year ahead. Enjoying the remaining summer heat and outdoors before the rainy season starts again. Baseball is in full swing and the Seattle Seahawks are in preseason games. Farmers markets are another great feature during the warm weather as we enjoy the fresh local produce and produces from our region.
Seafair activities with the parades, Blue Angels, Hydro races and local community events are the highlights of our great summers. The last few months are filled with many outdoor concerts, races and local events such as movie in the park, street fairs and many more...time to relax and get ready for September.
