The Most Festive Time of the Year

It's that time of year for dazzing lights, festive activities, parades and holiday lights.  Jesse Tam, the season for falling snow and laughter with music and celebration as we head to Bellevue's Snow Flake Lane.  The holiday characters parade with 300 cast performers nightly from November 29 - December 24 at 7pm.  You'll enjoy the daily outdoor 20 minute show with magical snow falls, live toy soldiers, Jingle belle dancers, drummers, stilt walkers, lighted floats and more to dazzling light show.

The family holiday show draws up to 10,000 spectators each night to downtown Bellevue.  Come early and enjoy the shops and take photos with some of the holiday characters.  An evening that will brighten your spirits and melt your heart as we share this holiday season.  Parking is available, but streets will closed prior to the parade route.

Location: along the sidewalks at The Bellevue Collection (Bellevue Square, Bellevue Place and Lincoln Square).

The Fair Happenings

It's that time of year when the kids are back to school, fall weather and spending time at the fair.  An annual trip to the Washington State Fair is always fun for the family and a short drive from Seattle, Jesse Tam. Leave the hassle behind and take public transportation on Pierce Transit Fair Express or Sound Transit bus and don't worry about parking.  The fair begins August 30 to September 22, closed on Tuesday with weekday schedules open from 10:30 am - 9:30 pm, Saturday 9:30 am - 10:30 pm, Sunday 9:30 am - 9:30 pm.

Try out the rides for all ages, enjoy the concerts and book your event tickets online.  There will be something for everyone to enjoy and activities for the little ones.  The fair will be filled with animals, rodeo event, concerts, entertainment throughout the day and evening.  Did we mention Fireworks on Friday nights too.  Vendors with a variety of food with indoor or outdoor seating areas will choices to please the whole family.  Don't miss the beer garden restaurant if you want to relax and unwind.

Visiting Seattle and the Free Shuttle Service

Here's a great way to visit downtown Seattle.  When you have an opportunity, try the free hop on free shuttle.  Jesse Tam, the waterfront shuttle runs from Pioneer Square to the Seattle Center along the waterfront on Alaskan Way S.  Buses will run seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through October 1.  It's a great way to get around town without the hassle of finding parking.  The shuttle runs approximately every 20 minutes.

The North and South Loop connects Seattle Center at the Space Needle to Chinatown/International District. Enjoy the waterfront and views of Seattle!
