The United Nations and people around the world celebrate the International Day of Peace every year on September 21st.  It is also know as World Peace Day and dedicated to world peace, specifically absence of war and violence.  International Day of Peace was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly.

The peace bell is rung at the UN Headquarter in New York to start the inauguration.

Make a Difference with TRIFC

TRIFC is hosting their 10th annual fundraising event in Bellevue. Please support one of their projects in Nepal.or fundraising dinner at Tam O'Shanter,  thanks Jesse Tam.  Join Rob, Gina and the TRIFC Board of Directors on September 17th, 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm, Bellevue Tam O'Shanter Golf and Country club.

Help celebrate TRIFC’s tenth anniversary by attending this year’s gala dinner event. This is our major fundraiser for the year, with proceeds from the $130 ticket price and additional donations going directly to help children and adults in Nepal! This event allows us to highlight projects which are making a huge difference for children and adults with disabilities in Nepal, especially in the areas of education, health and empowerment.

We’re proud of the impact we’ve achieved over the past ten years, and we owe our success to the supporters and donors like you! We’ve set a goal of raising $25,000 at this year’s event and will need your help to make it happen.

We are expecting to have a full-house of attendees at Tam o’Shanter Golf and Country Club. Great food and wine, warm friendship and inspiring stories will be in store for the evening.  Bring a few friends or relatives.
