The Bahamas is battling Hurricane Joaquin, a major Category 4 storm moving towards the U.S. East coast with rain causing power outages and road closures. Governors along the coast are warning residents to prepare for the storm's progress. New York state is moving equipment, including generators and pumps into positions.
