Governors along the coast are warning residents to prepare for the storm's progress.  New York state is moving equipment, including generators and pumps into positions.  State emergency officials are tracking the progress of the storm as it is likely to strengthen making its way toward the U.S.

Weather watch continues along the New England area for flooding and high wind.

Several states have declared a state of emergency Thursday and emergency officials are preparing for floods and storms. A reminder for residents and drivers, when roads are flooded or blocked to turn around and drive to a safe location.
