The service will open by the end of March after years of planning and construction for quick travel between the University, Capitol Hill and Sea-Tac
Airport. The 3.15 miles extension from HuskyStadium to the Capitol Hill station is expected to serve 71,000 passengers by 2030. https://jessewa28.wordpress.com/
The $1.9 billion project was funded by sales tax and other fees with a large portion of the funding also from federal grants.
